31 CGs and 15 Character Sprites Lined!

Hi guys!

While I was in the middle of not updating, I was actually doing quite a lot!

I'm looking at a very tentative FULL RELEASE of this game on March 31st 2024. Believe it or not, this game has been in the making since 2017 - I remade the demo over and over because I was never satisfied with the art, but I realized I finally have to finish this project and give it the love and attention it deserves. Tabby's story deserves to be told, too. 

All of the routes have been written - Hikaru, Syn, and Theo. Theo is the true route, aka the route that will be locked until you play both other routes. There are good and bad ends for each route, with a couple extra endings thrown in there - see if you can find them!

There may or may not be an extra side LI who has a very short route ;) check my twitter @otomegamestudio to see the preview :) 

For now, my schedule is to:

1. Flat color + render all 31 CGs (33 total I believe) 

2. Flat color + render 11 sprites (15 total)  

3. Add all characters and CGs into the code 

4. Add music, sound effects, etc into the code

5. Review the writing 

6. Send out the beta

The game itself will be paid, but the demo will always be available to those who want to get a taste of what the full game is like! 

I already have plans for a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th game...and also possibly a 5th, but let's not get too ahead of ourselves. 

There won't be any sequels to Twisted Tides - I believe that games should be complete when they are released, and I've never had the patience to read or play sequels of many things, so I won't do that to you guys, either. If a lot of people end up REALLY wanting it, I would make a DLC to this game with some romanceable side characters - Arthur, and Hotaru (you'll see what they look like soon enough!) with some afterstories of the main 3.
